FuturePay
FuturePay is an alternative to the UK Direct Debit scheme. FuturePay is a service provided by WorldPay. The major difference is rather than taking the monthly payment from your bank account, with FuturePay the payment is taken from your specified credit/debit card. You only have to give us your card details once. You are also given access to a online control panel to change your card details when neccessary, for example, when your current card expires.
FuturePay Agreement
An agreement must be setup if the following situations apply:
- You are purchasing a freephone number
- Your ngn number will divert to a mobile and/or international phone number
The reason for this is that these situations involve call charges which you the customer must pay for.
Call Charges
For 0844, 0845, 0870 and 0871 customers diverting to mobile, our monthly charge is £5.99 with 35 inclusive minutes, after this, the cost of mobile redirect is 14ppm.
For freephone customers, without mobile divert, our monthly charge is £5.99 with 255 inclusive minutes, after this, the cost is 2ppm.
For freephone customers, with mobile divert, our monthly charge is £5.99 with 30 inclusive minutes, after this, the total divert cost is 16ppm.
How to Setup a FuturePay agreement?
The process of setting up a FuturePay agreement is integrated within our online ordering process. After entering your contact and number details on the first step of our ordering process, you will then be taken to the next and final step. The final step is a payment page which will display details of the FuturePay agreement between you and Business Communications. Simply enter your credit/debit card details and click the 'Make Payment' button. We will then setup your chosen ngn numbers within 15 working minutes.
Cancellation
You are free to cancel whenever you like, but first you would have to contact us and redirect the ngn number to a landline number. Once the ngn number is no longer diverting to a mobile or international number:
- We can cancel the agreement ourselves once we receive your final payment. So if you cancel on the 10th August, we will take payment for August and once this has been paid, we will cancel the agreement.
- Recommended: We can set the monthly payment to £0.00 and keep the FuturePay agreement active, but when FuturePay/WorldPay collects our payments on our behalf, they will skip any customers where the payment is £0.00. This allows you in the future, to divert back to mobile/international without having to go through the process of setting up a new agreement with us, we can simply adjust the amount back to £5.99 within seconds.
